Oven Fried Chicken With Wine Gravy |
Chicken is my favorite dish to make. Because it is so mild tasting, it's the perfect meat to enhance with delicious sauces, gravies and every method of cooking possible. This rendition is pure comfort food at its finest and so simple to prepare. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
12 chicken thighs
2/3 cup Bisquick
1 package of dry Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix
3 tablespoons butter, melted
Shake together Bisquick and Ranch Dressing Mix in a large plastic baggie or a paper lunch bag. Add 1 chicken thigh at a time to mixture and shake until thoroughly coated.
Pour melted butter into oven proof pan or baking dish and lay the chicken on top, skin side down.
Bake at 425 degrees for a half hour. Turn and bake for another 15 mins.
Reserve juices from pan and make gravy as follows...
